In North India, a Western Disturbance over Pakistan will bring rain and thunderstorms to the Western Himalayan Region till April 22. Northeast states like Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall. In South India, rain and thunderstorms are forecast across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana over the next seven days. Meanwhile, heatwave conditions are expected in East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
