A 53-year-old man has been arrested for raping an 8-year-old girl in Mumbai's Jogeshwari area. According to news agency ANI, the accused and the victim's mother lived in the same building, and in the absence of anyone at home, she used to leave the child in the care of the 53-year-old man while she went to work. The accused took advantage of the situation and molested the girl. The mother registered a complaint at the police station after the girl had narrated the incident to her.
