The 35-year-old accused was arrested on Friday, August 30, by the Kalyan Rural police. According to a report in , the accused, who is a neighbour of the victim, lured the toddler with chocolates and sweets. Following this, he took the girl to an isolated spot and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
