On the other hand, Vijay's Tamil film Sarkar is doing well both in India and overseas, grossing more than Rs 200 crore worldwide. TOH's loss is also Badhaai Ho's gain, as the shows for Ayushmann Khurrana's film was increased after the tepid response to the Aamir Khan movie.

Thugs of Hindostan, produced by Yash Raj Films, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Katrina Kaif and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
